The first exam that students who want to enter YDT must take is TYT. TYT consists of 4 sections: Turkish Test, Social Sciences Test, Basic Mathematics Test and Science Test. Turkish Test consists of 40 questions and aims to measure reading comprehension, interpretation, basic grammar and correct use of spelling rules. Social Sciences Test; aims to measure students' knowledge and mostly interpretation skills in the fields of History (5), Geography (5), Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge/Philosophy (5) and consists of 40 questions.
YDT) which is included in the YKS exams is the main exam that students who want to be placed in one of the foreign language programs must take. In this exam, students can choose one of the languages of German, Arabic, French, English and Russian. Students must indicate the type of foreign language exam they want to take during the exam application process. Foreign Language Test (YDT) consists of 80 questions and lasts 120 minutes.
